Group dog walk training sessions.
SUSPENDED CURRENTLY DUE TO COVID
The idea behind the group dog walking sessions is to teach your dog it can be in the company of other dogs and yet this does not mean it can play with them. We will go out to various locations in the session will last about 1 hour. During the training session we will look at group work, but also individual work whilst the other dogs watch. A key philosophy of mine is that you remain proactive and not start being reactive to what the dog is doing.
A longer term aim is to get the dog is working to their breed traits out in a distraction environment where you can control them. It is also about you reading the environment and making the right decision before your dog decides it must make a decision.
To join this group walk you must have been on one of my Sunday one-to-one sessions so that I can assess the suitability of the dog around other dogs. There will be a limit of six dogs on the training walk and this will include mine.
The cost of the session will be £10 I will announce locations nearer time. We will leave for 08.30 prompt so please be there 10 minutes before leaving.
